Don't get us wrong... we are still bullish on BTC. At the 29th BTC made a reversal. It still looks like we are heading in the good direction. There is just one thing... that 7750 resistance... it's a major one!! If we break this resistance we can confirm a full on bull run towards that 9K again. Ethereum Classic (ETC) has now successfully implemented a protocol upgrade that will ensure that mining remains viable in future, according to ETC Block Explorer data yesterday, May 29. The fork, dubbed ECIP-1041, has removed the so-called “Difficulty Bomb” feature from the ETC network at block 5,900,000. The ‘bomb’ was a component of the original Ethereum (ETH) code that was designed to exponentially increase the difficulty of mining to the point where it would become impractically slow, thereby triggering the need to transition to a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm. BTC now trading at 7560. We had a up from ~7100 to 7400. Then a day of sideways action (boring). Followed by a drop from 7550 to 7280... and now we are back at 7550ish. If we look at the image this you see that this is in a channel. Some say it is market manipulation, this could be true but this "manipulation" is part of the game now so try to get used to it. We recommend to look at the bigger picture, look at the main direction of the trend instead of rises and drops in between this direction. There are a lot of speculations that bitcoin would go to 3000... well those who tell you that don't have a clue what they are talking about. Bitcoin/altcoins can be compared to stocks/gold/silver etc. Now some of you will be shouting at me that it is not the same but this is just a example. In this case we take a look at gold. To mine gold you need employees, materials and insurance etc. When you add all those things up you will get a price that you have to earn from selling the gold to at least break even with the costs of mining the gold. This is the same as bitcoin mining. It takes a lot of energy to mine 1 bitcoin and the equipment is also pricey. The average costs to mine 1 bitcoin is 4700 - 4800 dollar. If bitcoin would drop below this price a lot of miners would shut their systems down. Only the big companies would be able to mine with a small profit. BTC now at 7470. We are now in this "channel" just waiting for BTC to make its next move. We are still bullish on BTC, a lot of people are not tough... Ofcourse we could see a dip in price (weekend) but we see and think the main direction is up. The prices to watch are ; resistance at top of channel (7550ish), then 7580 resistance and last but not least 7750. If we break this 7750 the breakout/bull run is definitely confirmed (this is a price barrier where a lot of people are waiting for to confirm bulls are taking over). Today we have to "close" the day above 7500 to keep the bulls motivate. Now the negative side of things, if we fall from this channel (7430and lower) we will see the first support at 7300. Bitcoin now trading at 7280! finally some price action upwards. We are now battling 7300 resistance. Cool to finally use the word resistance again instead of supports. As we predicted some price action up on the 29th. I know it´s hard but don´t get to exited yet... Chinese Internet security giant 360 has found "a series of epic vulnerabilities" in the #EOS platform. Bitcoin remains a strong buy despite recent losses, blockchain venture capitalist Spencer Bogart told CNBC yesterday, May 26. BTC now trading around 7425. We had some ups and downs but the main direction was down. For now we want to make a longer term prediction. If we look at the image you will see the green dotted lines. These are the major Support and resistance lines. We are currently almost at the support line (support ~7300). We think that when the futures expire on the 29th of may we will see price actions up. Why? Because then "the big guy" have made a maximum profit and the price is low when Nasdaq starts to trade BTC. This combined makes a lot of sense to us. Co-founder and Fundstrat strategist Tom Lee is holding to his prediction that Bitcoin (BTC) will reach $25,000, CNBC reports May 23.
